Aloo paratha is a punjabi breakfast.In north India, aloo paratha is frequently used as break fast. I will tell how to make aloo paratha easily at home.
INGREDIENTS FOR ROTI DOUGH :
Wheat flour : 2 cups
Salt to taste
Enough water to make dough.
Oil - 1tsp ( optional)
INGREDIENTS FOR STUFFING :
Potatoes : 3
Green chillies : 2
Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Masala powder : 1tsp
Coriander leaves : 1/4 bunch
Coriander powder : 1 tsp
Butter for frying. ( It gives good taste to ur parathas)
MAKING DOUGH :
Take wheat flour in to a bowl and add salt,oil and enough water to make dough.Make soft dough and keep a side up to 30 mins.
FILLING :
First boil the potatoes.Take boiled potatoes and mash them.Add salt,coriander powder,red chilli powder,chopped green chillies and garam masala and mix well.
- Make dough in to balls.
- Make small size roti and place 2 tsps of stuffing on roti and close it.
- Take dust flour on stuffed ball and roll it to make a paratha.
- Take a tawa for paratha frying.
- Add butter on two sides of paratha while frying.
- serve with onion and lemon.
